 New Oxford office for Linacre Centre

 

The staff and governors of the Linacre Centre for Healthcare Ethics are delighted to announce that we have opened an office at 17 Beaumont Street, Oxford in co-operation with Blackfriars Hall, a Permanent Private Hall of Oxford University. Our London office will be closing in March 2010.

 

We are looking to develop a fruitful academic research partnership with Blackfriars, together with educational and consultancy activities consonant with this as part of our public outreach and service to the Church. As a first step, we co-sponsored on 6th November with Blackfriars, the Institute for the Psychological Sciences and the Potomac Institute a lecture on bioethics by Professor Edmund Pellegrino.  More events are in the pipeline, both in and outside Oxford (see Forum and Conferences for details).
